What is Lru.it

Lru.it is a URL Shortener. With Lru.it you can take any URL on the web and make a small version of it. This way, when sharing links with friends over messages or social networks, you can just paste them a short link and they will be automatically redirected to the original URL.

How to use

1. Paste the long url in to the box.

2. Press Shorten.it

3. Copy the new short url from the box.

4. Share the URL with the world.

For those of you who uses Chrome browser, Don't forget to check out our Chrome extension, for faster and easier URL creation.

For users using other browsers (or chrome...) we have a nice bookmark link you can use to create links in one click. Drag the following link to your bookmarks toolbar, Link: LRU.IT. Once clicked, the currently active URL will get shorten.
